The public exhibition was the first major event organized by Docomomo Hong Kong with the goal to identify and map several buildings, sites, and neighborhoods that collectively show the influence of the Modern Movement of Hong Kong’s built environment. The University of Hong Kong awarded the project the 2014 Faculty Knowledge Exchange Award in recognition of its significant contribution to promoting public education about architecture and urban history in Hong Kong.
