Site 3 (Central Waterfront) Discussion Forum

Docomomo Hong Kong co-organized a discussion forum on the future of “Site 3”, the Central waterfront which will soon undergo a significant transformation as a large part of the reclaimed area has been put up for tenders. Forum participants reviewed works by three teams of architects who have created initial designs on the future usage of the site, addressing issues of connectivity, provision of public space and the conservation and restoration of historically-significant buildings.
Several Docomomo members were also interviewed by local media on their opinions on the future of Site 3.
